Set to Medium

  1. From the main Norton screen, select Personal Firewall, then Configure.
  2. Click the Firewall tab, and set the slider to Medium.

Permit hotComm

  1. From the main Norton screen, select Personal Firewall, then Configure.
  2. Click the Programs tab.
  3. Find all entries for hotComm and set them to Permit All.
  4. Click Ok and close the Norton windows.

Pass Information about Visited Sites (Referer)

  1. From the main Norton screen, select Privacy Control, then Configure.
  2. In the Privacy Control window, select Advanced.
  3. In the Web Content window, click Add Site.
  4. Delete www. and type in the relay server your room is on, followed by ".ezpeer.net", such as relay4.ezpeer.net
  5. Click on your relay server in the list. Under Information about visited site, uncheck Use Default Settings and select Permit (not "Permit same site").
  6. Click Ok and close the Norton windows.
