eTSO Room Shortcuts

You can create shortcuts on your desktop to connect directly to specific eTSO presentation rooms or exhibit booths. You can use our Link Creator Utility, or build a shortcut yourself.

Link Creator Utility

To download and install the Room Desktop Link Creator utility, click here. That creates a desktop shortcut labeled "Connect to room on relay".

For relay, enter: ETSO1
For room, enter the roomname you are given, such as: PresentationRoom1, eTSO25, etc.

Create Shortcut Yourself

Right-click anywhere on your computer desktop, select New and then Shortcut.
In the Create Shortcut window, type the address and click Next.

For a presentation room, type this, where "#" is the presentation room number:
hotcomm://eTSO1:PresentationRoom#
For an exhibit booth, type this, where "booth-name" is the name of your exhibit booth, such as eTSO25, eTSO26, etc.:
hotcomm://eTSO1:booth-name
In the Select a Title for the Program window, type a name for the shortcut and click Finish.

For a presentation room, we recommend this:
eTSO Room
For an exhibit booth, we recommend this, where "booth-name" is the name of your exhibit booth, such as eTSO25, eTSO26, etc.

If you any problems creating the shortcut manually, try re-installing your hotComm product (but do not uninstall it first). When the installer tells you that you already have this version, select Continue to replace the files.
