Use to reduce off-topic comments (such as "no sound") or to hold questions for the end (Moderators can copy and paste them back into the transcript when its time for questions.)
Note: to disable all typing by Public users, select both Privatize Keyboard and PM Disable.

In-Out-Out |

Moderators and Presenters see typing from users. Users don't see typing from other users. This is commonly used in webinars to avoid distractions. |
In-Out-In |
|
Users don't see typing from other users, and don't see each other in the Invited List. This is commonly used when you want each user to be unaware of other users in the room, such as in the hotComm Support Room. |
In-In-Out |
|
Users can see each other, but are not able to type at all to anyone, except to send Private Messages to Moderators and CL Presenters. |
Out-In-In |
|
Users cannot see each other in the Invited List, and are not able to type at all. This is rarely used. |
Note: |
Using Privatize Keyboard, PM Disable, Isolate Users, and the Microphone disable options at the same time effectively means that Public users are aware of the Moderator/Presenters only, and can interact only with them.
