These are some of the questions we've been asked about the update to hotComm revision
7.50.
Note for Kaspersky users -- please configure Kaspersky for hotComm again after you
update, per our instructions at
www.hotcomm.com/FAQ/FAQ_kaspersky.asp
What's in the release?
A new multi-room broadcasting product, "sticky" chart resizing, ability to run hotcomm
from non-Admin accounts, lots of fixes and user requests -- please see
Revision History.
How do I learn more about hotComm Multi Pro?
Call Kevin Driscoll at 508-877-9973, and read about it on our
Product Page
Why is this a required revision?
Because hotComm is a communications product and accumulated changes to the connectivity
and feature set require that everyone be on the same minimum version.
I get error messages when downloading
If you are having problems downloading the update, try directly from our website,
at www.hotcomm.com/downloads.asp.
Why is it taking so long to update?
In order to allow people to use hotComm from non-Admin Windows accounts, we must
relocate the data files and folders. In most cases, we just rename them to the new
location. In some cases, we may have to move them, and if you have many saved transcripts,
recordings, and screenshots, that could take more time than you expect.
I get an error message connecting to my room
Please see a description of the error messages, at www.hotcomm.com/connect.asp.
How can I get an email telling me of a new revision?
