Unattended Remote Control
You can remotely control an unattended hotComm Presenter Pro (or higher). You can use any hotComm client to do the controlling.
Requirements for the unattended copy of hotComm:

hotComm Presenter Pro license, which appears in your Registration Profile Information as hotComm Pro.

Peer-to-peer connection. Neither the unattended or controlling hotComm can be connected to a room.

The appropriate connection status for what you want to do:

Configure the unattended hotComm
To configure the unattended hotComm:

Select Options, then Mode/Identity, and enter a password in RCpwd (on the bottom of the window).

Do not connect to any rooms or other hotComm users. Your Session 1 should be empty.

Leave hotComm running.
Connect to the unattended hotComm
To connect to hotComm from a remote computer:

- Right-click on your desktop computer name, select hotControl User.
- When prompted, enter the password.

- In the Connect window, enter the address as website:rc, where "website" is the ezPeer website name of the remote computer. "rc" is the remote control command.
- Enter the password.
- Click Connect.

- Connect to the address: http://website.im-live.com/im-live/?-rm=rc, where "website" is the ezPeer website name of your desk to computer.
- Enter the password.

Control Commands
After you have connected to the remote hotComm, type control commands:

Click the Camera icon off, or click the Windows Close (X) button. |
Note: while Remote Dynamic Desktop is enabled, the background display on the unattended computer is hidden (for speed reasons). When Remote Dynamic Desktop is disabled, the background display returns.
